CEO & Co-Founder, The Other Songs (UK)
Having started his career in A&R at Island Records, Alastair Webber founded The Other Songs in 2018 as an independent music and entertainment company that focuses on developing songwriters and artists through a diverse range of services, including a record label, publishing, management and live events. The company has achieved billions of streams, including notable singings like alternative artist Ren and singer-songwriter Bruno Major, and more recently set up a JV with Fish56Octagon to promote the next generation of electronic artists. He is also developing a tech platform for song pitching that will launch in 2025.
In addition to his work with TOS, Alastair is dedicated to campaigning for songwriters and philanthropy, particularly as a Trustee of The Brit School. He has hosted numerous live shows at the iconic London Palladium, with proceeds from these events benefiting The Brit School, Ivors Academy Trust and Nordoff & Robbins, all aimed at nurturing young songwriters and artists from diverse backgrounds. Since the founding of TOS, Alastair has facilitated over 300 songwriter performances and raised over £125,000 for music charities.
