Alev Tav is a name that resonates with passion, creativity, and energy in the electronic music world. From her beginnings in Ukraine to becoming a rising force in Ibiza, Alev’s journey is all about staying true to her sound and connecting deeply with her audience.

In the words of the legendary Pete Tong: “Alev Tav has captured all the vibes of Ibiza, and the way she selects and mixes music is truly exciting.” Nicole Moudaber, who awarded her the title of Best Up-and-Coming Artist of 2024 in Ibiza, also shared her thoughts: “Her style resonates with me. Her technical abilities are impressive, and she already has great tracks out. I believe she has a bright future ahead.”

A Journey of Dedication and Growth

Alev’s story started in 2012 under the name Alevtina, where her DJ sets quickly gained attention for their originality and emotional depth. By 2016, she expanded into producing, crafting a distinctive sound that blends tech house, deep tech, house, minimal, and garage. Over the years, she’s shared stages with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Pete Tong, Andrea Oliva, Dennis Cruz, Sasha, Who Made Who, Stefano Noferini, Claptone, Masson Collective, Miss Monique, Ida Engberg and Franky Wah and more.

Her talent earned her a residency at Kyiv’s renowned Skybar in 2019, making her a key player in Ukraine’s vibrant electronic scene. In 2020, she became part of the Area Verde Group in Barcelona, where she took on A&R duties for the RIM Records tech house label. Alev also curated her own series of RIM events, which became iconic in Ukraine, including exclusive stages at the White Nights Festival and performances at Atlas Weekend.

A New Chapter in Ibiza

When war disrupted life in Ukraine, Alev found solace and inspiration in Ibiza in the summer of 2022. With her relocation came reinvention, as Alevtina transformed into Alev Tav, embracing the vibrant spirit of her new island home.

Her dynamic presence quickly made waves in Ibiza, with appearances on prestigious platforms like Ibiza Global Radio, Ibiza Sonica, Pure Ibiza Radio, and Downtown Tulum Radio, among others. Alev’s mixes also graced Uncoded Radio and international outlets like Data Transmission and DJ Mag Radio, earning her praises from industry tastemakers.

In the summer of 2023, she became a resident DJ of Ibiza Talents, iconic event of the island and  she also plays at clubs like Amnesia, Destino, Lío, Club Chinois, Cova Santa and Eden, performing also for events like It’s All About the Music, Space Ibiza, IMS Ibiza, Deeperfect, and and Ida Engberg’s Mystik Parties added another layer to her Ibiza journey.

Building Momentum

Alev’s hard work has been recognized far and wide:

• April 2024: She won the Grand Prix Award at the Pete Tong DJ Academy contest, chosen from over 600 participants, with special recognition from Pete Tong and Nicole Moudaber.

• Her live stream sets on YouTube have amassed millions of views, with her vinyl performances becoming a standout feature.

• She’s been featured in Mixmag Brasil, Mixmag Spain and Mixmag Ukraine showcasing her impact on the global stage.

Music That Resonates

Alev’s productions have made waves in the industry. In 2024, her track “Dirty Language” reached the #1 spot on Traxsource, and her release “Slow” climbed Beatport Hype Top 10. Releases on Nervous Records, Hot Fuss, and Ibiza Talents Records have gained support from big names like Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones, and Stefano Noferini. Her tracks have been played by top radio stations all around the world, including BBC Radio1.

Looking ahead to 2025, Alev is set to release new music on Ibiza Talents Records, Nothing Else Matters (a remix for Nicole Moudaber’s hit “Rise Up”), Moan and Bamboleo and remixes of tracks by the renowned Grammy nominated American musician Ronnie King, who has worked with top artists such as 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey and many more to come.

She is also set to take on a new role as a resident DJ for a monthly radio show on MixMag Ukraine, further expanding her reach and influence as well as gigs scheduled all around the world.
