Amber Haque is a British broadcaster, DJ, and producer known for her compelling, immersive storytelling. Whether its uncovering untold human stories or leading deep-dive investigations, she presents documentaries and podcasts for global heavyweights like BBC Three, Channel 4, BBC Sounds, and CBS  in the USA - always with empathy, warmth, and a fearless sense of adventure.

Fusing her love for music, film, and storytelling, Amber co-founded the DJ duo KAKURA with her partner, Sean and regularly presents live music radio shows for BBC Asian Network. KAKURA’s electrifying sets have seen them play everywhere from Africa and Pakistan to their beloved second home, Ibiza. Along the way, their ethnic-inspired productions have received support from BLOND:ISH, THEMBA and Steve Lawler and seen them interview top artists like Hot Since 82, BLOND:ISH and Matador for various publications.

A proud Mancunian and mixed-race South Asian woman, Amber is a passionate advocate for working-class and diverse talent in TV and music - championing industry change at Edinburgh TV Festival and beyond.
