Daan Determeijer

Before becoming a professional in the music industry Daan Determeijer worked for several media companies, and also was active as a DJ and event promotor. He Co-Founded crowdfunding platform & music label Africa Unsigned and was label manager for Basserk Records before he moved to MusicAllStars Publishing in 2013, the publishing sister-company of Spinnin' Records. In 2022 Daan moved to Dutch Collecting Society BUMA/STEMRA in a new position focusing on International Members and internationally successful Members - as well as streamlining the world of electronic Music & CMO's. Buma/Stemra represents composers, lyricists and music publishers. The organization provides remuneration for music use on radio, TV, streaming services, venues and in hospitality, retail and business premises, among other things. In addition, Buma/Stemra promotes Dutch copyright both at home and abroad. For example, Dutch composers, lyricists and music publishers are offered an international stage by supporting major events such as Eurosonic Noorderslag and the Amsterdam Dance Event. Daan is also active as a co-chair in the CMO-working group of AFEM, the Association For Electronic Music.
