Hannah Shogbola began her career at DatSound, a music studio for emerging UK hip hop, which helped birth artists like Klashnekoff & Exchalibah.
After ten years at DatSound, Hannah moved into broadcasting, where she assisted and produced for Vanessa Feltz and Robert Elms on BBC London before becoming a live music reporter for BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra.
Later, Hannah's love for electronic music saw her join the booking team at Fabric, then WME - one of the world's largest booking agencies. Here she worked alongside Nick Cave, assisting artists like Paul Kalkbrenner, MIA, Trentemoller, and Maya Jane Coles.
Obi Asika headhunted Hannah for Echo Location Talent, moving over to UTA where she now heads up her own roster. She represents more than twenty artists (including Kelela, KILIMANJARO, Jaguar, Vigro Deep, Girls Don't Sync, p-rallel, Jaguar & more
Hannah Shogbola is one of the only Black female agents in the UK. She's also one of the few people to sell out Brixton Academy, Roundhouse and The Forum, which she did when she was under-30!
She's appeared on panels and boards from The Royal Albert Hall to The Roundhouse and worked with The British Council on festival curation at The Southbank.
With an abundance of experience and a burning desire to make a difference, Hannah is uniquely equipped to address the broad range of challenges that beset the live music sector.
Working with companies like British Underground, Afro Punk, and SXSW, DAJU promotes up-and-coming artists and makes sure work environments are diverse, well balanced, and equal.
