James is a medical doctor, an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgery resident, and a researcher in nightclub hearing health. In 2022, he co-founded Life Is Loud, a platform dedicated to engaging dancefloor fans with sonic safety through actionable tools and education. His work in hearing health earned him a grant from ENT UK in 2023 for a collaborative research project with RA. As an advisor for industry-led hearing health initiatives, James partners with major players in the music industry to raise awareness about auditory well-being and reduce the risk of hearing damage. Through his work in nightlife hearing health, he is committed to shaping a better future for both music fans and industry professionals alike.
