Summit Session: Duck Soup

A groove selector and vinyl collector with a great passion for music and art in general. 

Born in Egypt to live by its rich culture and raised in a very artistic family practicing different kind of art forms. 

His move to Dubai flourished his musical journey and his name quickly thrived by making his very first steps with the renowned “Groove on the Grass”, being the main face and resident DJ for the famed “Plus Minus” and taking part at prominent events/clubs like “Analog Room”, “RetroGroove”, “Boogie Box”, “B018”, “Underground Town” (Europe) and “Closr” (Beirut) to name a few. 

Ezaby has been stirring the music scene in the region not only by his stellar DJ sets but also by curating various safe space concepts for art expression and supporting regional local talents. Some of the concepts he co-created like “Unfold”, “Duck Soup”, “Jewelry Box Fest.”, “TETATET”, “On the Roof at Morimoto”, “SLT Shaker” in Dubai ; “N*RDS Collective”, “Monkey Pie” and “Tiny Space” in Egypt presented a true sound to the local scene and bringing like-minded people closer. 

Curated his signature sound through his weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio FM UAE. Consequently playing an important role to express and push a specific sound in the region like minimal, deep, dub and micro house. 

His fondness for collecting and spinning records aspired him to embark on a new journey to start a vinyl only record label infused with contemporary art, focusing on regional talent. 

Mo Ezabyy is on a mission to be one of those who contribute in shaping and laying the building blocks of "our regional club culture”.
