Thin Ice Entertainment; Co-Founder (USA)
Summit Session: Meet the Investors
Nicholas is a founder and investor in early-stage technology companies. He began his career working on mobile product and growth at Kanvas Labs (acquired by AOL/Verizon). He then built his own product and growth studio, launching three consumer mobile products across the entertainment and interactive media spaces. He later founded Sonar Projects, where he managed creators, built brand partnerships, and secured content deals for venture-backed startups.
Building on his prior experience in startups and angel investing, Nicholas then joined Goat Capital, a venture fund, where he incubated and invested in early-stage technology companies (incubations include Stash and Rye). Most recently, Nicholas left the fund to start Thin Ice Entertainment with Justin Kan (co-founder of Twitch). Thin Ice specializes in talent management, content publishing, and distribution. Thin Ice also has an incubation lab, using its infrastructure to build new entertainment businesses.
