Niclas Molinder

Niclas Molinder is a songwriter, music producer, and musician who has expanded his focus to innovating data and rights management in the music industry, always with music creators at the center. After 20 years of songwriting and producing for artists such as Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, and The Jonas Brothers, as well as running his own publishing company, RedFly Music, the Swedish entrepreneur turned his attention to solving the value gap in the music industry.

In 2014, Niclas founded Session Studio, the world’s first independent global hub for authoritative pre-registration music metadata sourced from creators, alongside Max Martin, Björn Ulvaeus (ABBA), and Avicii’s former manager, Ash Pournouri. His vision is to set a global standard for identifying music creators and their roles in songs, ensuring proper credit and fair compensation whenever their work is used.
