Saskhia Menendez

Saskhia Menendez is a multi-racial transgender woman and a dynamic force in the global music and entertainment industries. With over a decade of experience, she is a passionate advocate, music manager, researcher, public speaker, and host of the Music Industry Insights Worldwide podcast. Her work focuses on equity, inclusion, and the empowerment of underrepresented voices, particularly within the LGBTQIA+, trans, and non-binary communities.

Raised in a disadvantaged household with two deaf parents, Saskhia’s lived experiences have shaped her deep commitment to social change. She became a young parent at 18 and transitioned 14 years ago. These personal milestones have driven her dedication to breaking down barriers and fostering authentic representation across creative industries.

Professionally, Saskhia has managed a range of unsigned artists, supporting them in producing albums, securing publishing deals, and navigating the complex music landscape. She is also  and artist and the creator of the Trans Charter for the Music Industry, a landmark initiative designed to improve access, understanding, and safety for trans and non-binary individuals within music and entertainment.
