How do you build a movement? Just ask SHERELLE, the East London DJ who’s dedicated to jungle, footwork, d’n’b and hardcore and is currently busy taking her vision for a better, fairer and faster electronic music scene around the world.

You’ll know SHERELLE by now: she’s been tearing up sweat-soaked clubs and ecstatic festival stages from Chicago to Tokyo, whipping the global 160bpm+ community into a frenzy with her cutting-edge track selections and charismatic, once-in-a-generation DJ style.

The accolades speak for themselves: DJ Mag’s Best British DJ, BBC Essential Mix Of The Year winner, an NME magazine One To Watch and a regular face in the Dazed 100. But for SHERELLE, the next level begins now.

Having cut her teeth on the UK’s underground club scene, broken the internet with seminal live streams and magazine covers and sold-out countless shows playing only the most-forward thinking and uncompromising music, SHERELLE is combining her visionary approach and headliner-status to leave a lasting impact on the history and future of electronic music.

As an artist, she will be releasing plenty of new music, following on from her incendiary singles ‘160 DOWN THE A406’, ‘JUNGLE TEKNAH’ and ‘GETOUTOFMYHEAD’; as a curator, she will continue to run her pioneering record label HOOVERSOUND (alongside Naina) and BEAUTIFUL, the label that is a platform, recording studio and academy for queer, Black artists; and as a social advocate she will keep on showing up for working class, LGBTQ+, people of colour in the arts and music.

There will also be plenty of radio, like SHERELLE’s own weekly BBC 6Music show, and milestone shows, like playing at Frank Ocean’s party and closing Glastonbury festival on the epic IICON stage – all of that is a given with a DJ who has as much energy and hunger to share new music as SHERELLE. But watch closely and you’ll see the start of something bigger and wider start to occur. Inspired by her late friend Virgil Abloh, SHERELLE is eager to unlock even more of her creative potential and present her art in new ways.
