Sophia Kearney is the co-founder of the event series, label and fashion house HE.SHE.THEY. With over ten years working in the music industry as a manager, Sophia holds a wealth of knowledge in all things music and the arts. She is also the co-CEO of The Weird & The Wonderful, where she manages artists including SYREETA, Emily Nash & Wax Wings and previously Maya Jane Coles, Magda & Dense & Pika to name a few. Alongside co-founder Steven Braines, her work for HE.SHE.THEY spans cultivating brave spaces and ideas to live in a world without prejudice.
The platform has hosted festival stages at Glastonbury, (UK) Coachella, (USA) Kappa FUTUR, (IT) Creamfields (CHL), Lost Village (UK) and many more, not to mention club nights around the world, counting fabric, KOKO, Motion, Sub Club and NX in the UK and a residency at Amnesia in Ibiza amongst countless other spots. Sophia has spoken about diversity, inclusion and safer spaces around the world, from Miami WMC to Amsterdam Dance Event and HE.SHE.THEY. was the subject of a recent documentary commissioned by Beatport. Interviews include DJ Mag, Billboard, Wonderland, Hunger & GQ. Sophia has seen it all in music — the highs, the lows and the chaos of the music business.
